One of the greatest things about the May’s Painting Card Series is its ease of use. Instead of having to place a big and heavy painting book in front of you, all you have to do here is to place one or several of the instructional cards in front of you and yield your brush.

The original Chinese name of these decks is different but to keep things easy, we name them May’s Painting Cards in reverence of Lulus mom May who was the original source of inspiration for this site and who loved to practice with these cards.

This specific deck of cards focuses on animals living and or around the water and which are traditionally often depicted on Chinese and Japanese brush painting artworks.

We hope you have as much fun working with these lively, bright and colorful illustrations as we do and whenever a new deck is published we for sure will make this available for you as well.
