Just a quick glance at the Handbook Album with Blue-Gold Dragon Brocade Cover lets you know that you are looking at something special. Very special.

Exquisitely and precisely handcrafted, the cover features a traditional Chinese dragon and peony motif, bold and eye-catching for modern viewers. The classic dragon design paired with blooming peonies creates a magnificent, timeless look. The result is a striking and memorable cover that can be considered a piece of art unto itself.

But the perfection of the album does not end at the cover. The inside pages are specially designed with dual-texture xuan paper, allowing any artist to easily make this entire album a work he or she can be proud of for years to come.

The front side is unsized raw xuan. It offers exceptional softness and strong ink absorbency, perfect for expressive calligraphy and freehand ink painting. Flip to the reverse side, it is sized ripe xuan which controls ink bleeding, ideal for fine, detailed brushwork. As soon as the ink touches the ripe xuan surface, the shape is locked without smudging or distorting your original creation.
All of these qualities add up to make the Handbook Album perfect for writing any type of calligraphy script, no matter what your writing preference is. And going further, this versatile album also serves as a great material for Sumi-e painting.

There are 20 folds offering 40 usable pages in total. Further enhancing the front is the rectangular splash-gold vertical title strip. This will serve as a perfect place to add the title of the album. Since artists likely will want to own more than one of these treasured and handmade albums, this provides a great way to distinguish between albums.
