My intent is to let each mark of my brush meet the canvas as an extension of my state of mind. I am working inward as I paint outward.”
Patricia is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and The University of Minnesota. At the moment, Patricia is Director at the OpenWall Chicago and Exhibition Coordinator for the NAB East Coast ICCPS (International Chinese Calligraphy and Ink Painting Society).
She regularly holds workshops, heads Art talks and organizes private instruction sessions.
Furthermore, she is a member of the Sumi-e Society of America, the Inc., Chicago Artist’s Coalition, the Klein Artists Works Community as well as the Wilson Artists Group.
There are numerous features in well known publications about Patricia’s work. On top of that, she is on the panel for the Chicago Creative Expo and appeared as a public speaker in media interview across all relevant media channels. Her works can be found in many private collections.
Her way of painting is often referred to as “fresh”, characterized by very unique “flying brush strokes”. Patricia’s paintings have been exhibited to market events such as the Chicago Artist Month, the Midwest Business Travel Association and many more.
