Known for its high transparency, this Xinjiang seems to reveal itself to you in layers. While it has a natural purple finish, it has light shades of black and even whites that seem to swirl around the inside of the stone. The white on the outside looks as if it could have been painted on by an exceptional artist.

But its looks are not the only reason to enjoy this stone. It is a great stone for beginners in the world of seal carving. Since it is much softer than other seal stones, it is easier to carve. However, unlike some beginner stones that are fragile, the stone is firm enough to be durable and easy to maintain, so it will be a great tool and decoration in your studio for years to come.
