Perfect for drawing lines, particularly fine lines in paintings, the "Ye Jin" Brush set comes with three brushes to fit nearly any fineline need.
Since they is made entirely of weasel hair, the tips of this brushes is stiff and has a good resilience, making it great for drawing extremely precise and accurate lines. The set comes with three different tip sizes - small, medium and large ? to provide a variety of choices to work with lines of different thicknesses.
In addition to using these brushes for fine lines in paintings and drawings, many artists also use the brushes for small script calligraphy.
Please note that these brushes are made out of weasel hair and not wolf hair. Many misunderstandings arise from the fact that both of these types of hair share the same Chinese characters, Lang Hao, and therefore brushes often are mislabeled. Here at The Chinese Calligraphist, we label high quality weasel hair brushes like the ones in the Wolf Whisker set as wolf hair, and more basic quality is labeled weasel hair.
