DRAGON AND PHOENIX - Chinese Signature Couple Seal Stone - Vermillion

Set of two Chinese Shoushan seal stones with relief carved Dragon and Phonexi headers. One pair of couple stones is cut out of the same stone so that when place next to each other - the stone patterns continue from one to the next making them look as one. Traditionally used to symbolize a bond of friendship between collaborating artists or artist lovers - it still is a beautiful gift for people with an artistic soul feeling connected to each other. Both stones are cuboid shaped with a rectangular base . This specimen comes in Vermillion red color with horizontal streaks of orange and cinnabar.
