Classic Chinese paint brush with a soft tip made of hand-selected white goat hair. The bristles of the tip are very soft with high ink absorbency which is why this brush is mainly used for sumi-painting and Kaishu, Lishu and Zhuanshu script styles requiring a softer and less resilient tip.

The handle is made of fine Chinese porcelain from Jing De Zhen county (景德镇) where historically and even today China's finest ceramic comes from. It is white with a cool touch to it and decorated with hand paintings of Chinese dragons in the blue often found on Chinese ceramic items.

Some painters and calligraphists prefer working with ceramic brushes since the softness of the handle makes the fingertip moves for certain painting techniques easiert.
Furthermore, this brush is very nice to look at and makes a beautiful Oriental decoration item in your home.
